Manufacturers Responsibility

To comply with EN Standards under the Self Certification Rules it is the responsibility of the manufacturer to maintain his Quality Control System and ensure that regular Periodic tests (if required) are conducted.

This involves bi-annual auditing the Quality System, in the case of EN 1279, and remembering to have the 6 monthly Routine Sample Test carried out on 5 units taken from production (after 4 successful tests this reverts to annual testing).

CENSolutions Ltd is in a position to provide a regular Audit Service to take over the aspects of EN 12150, EN 14351 and EN 1279 Compliance. Leaving the manufacturer with doing what 'He does Best' - make high quality finished product.

Compliance Management Service

CENSolutions Ltd have devised a system of regular auditing to go hand in hand with the routine testing of units every six months, as required by the standard. It allows you to comply with your responsibilities under the self-certification rules of EN 1279. (The on-going requirement of routine testing can be carried out by organisations other than the notified body test houses.)

This unique 'Compliance Management Service' contract will ensure the onerous task of ensuring compliance is virtually guaranteed. This enables you the, unit manufacturer, to concentrate on what you do best - manufacturing IG units, and ensuring your testing regime is kept up to date. All the worry and hassle of continuing compliance is left to CENSolutions Ltd. This service has been cost-effectively priced over the initial 24 month period where 2 tests per annum are required. Once 4 consecutive passes have been achieved, the system reverts to one audit and routine test per year.

Our well established test facility is at Penkridge near Stafford and close to junctions 12 and 13 of the M6. Although customers will be welcome, you do not have to deliver your units; our consultants will select the units from your production and bring them to the test house.
